- Artisan-crafted teak finishes are hand-applied using a wire brush to subtly distress the wood, followed by staining the surface to enhance its natural character.
- Small imperfections may reveal underlying teak wood, adding authentic variation and allowing finishes to naturally weather into a beautiful silvery-grey patina over time when left uncovered.
- Teak hardwood contains natural oils that help repel insects, resist moisture, and protect against fungal decay, rotting, and warping caused by temperature or humidity changes.
